The Role:
Currently looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Engineer who has the ability to assist the QHSE Manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the Business Management System. Working with Engineering / Manufacturing Departments to ensure development and manufacture of new products are in accordance with stringent requirements for highly controlled environments.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Engineer your main duties will involve:
• Maintaining and improving the intranet based Business Management System
• Working with the Engineering and Manufacturing Departments to ensure development and manufacture of new products are in accordance with requirements
• Planning and conducting audits, creating audit reports and determining the proper corrective and preventive actions
• Conducting root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for process related issues
• Lead product value engineering and production engineering within development or sustaining activities
• Be proactive on internal and supply chain processes to lean them, reduce variability and hence drive down costs
• Analysing failure, corrective and preventive actions to respond to customer complaints.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer / Quality Engineer you will have experience:
• Strong background within Quality Engineering and Quality Management Systems
• Background within an Electronics Environment
• Fully conversant with QA standards and practices - ISO9001:2008
• RCC-E knowledge and practitioner or similar would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Lean and 6 Sigma methodology would be an advantage
