The Role:
KEY ROLES:
• Single Point of Contact (SPC) for all jacket & pile quality control issues
• SPC for certain Technical Authorities (TA’s) and for Quality Manager
• Manager for all site QC team functions and activities
• SPC for the assembly and submittal of Guidance on Certification (GOC) documentation for jacket & pile construction


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist and support the Construction/Delivery Manager to achieve his contract objectives
• Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively engaging the site team and construction contractors with actions that contribute to delivering on HSE expectations
• Take overall responsibility for the satisfactory surveillance of all inspection and testing activities in accordance with the project quality documents
• Monitor contractors’ QC plans, programs, and QC personnel qualifications for full compliance
• Ensure that the Hold & Witness points and other requirements identified within the Inspection & Test Plans are fully implemented
• Supervise QC site team and deploy inspectors according to ITP and project priorities; develop performance criteria and ensure expectations are being met

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent university-level education
• Senior Welding Inspector - CSWIP Level 3.2.2
• Radiographic Interpretation (CSWIP) or PCN Level 2
• Coating Inspection - NACE Level 2 (desirable)
• Quality Auditor certification (desirable) and training
• Expertise in comprehending, interpreting, and communicating quality specifications, fabrication drawings, welding procedures & specifications, and inspection reports
• Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience on QC activities applicable to oil & gas onshore and/or offshore facilities and equipment
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience on conducting and/or participating in external and internal quality audits
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Quality Management leadership role
• Substantial experience closely aligned with job responsibilities
