The Role:
• Promote quality and continual improvement throughout the organisation
• Carry out inspections on products and components to specification
• Manage stock control system in conjunction with Quality Manager
• Ensure compliance with international standards, industry legislation and regulations
• Compile data for quality performance analysis
• Ensure compliance with defined current quality policies/procedures and identify any areas for improvement
• Investigate quality issues, and document non-conformances and corrective actions
• Assist senior members of QHSE department as required
• May be required to deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Fully conversant and up-to-date with all aspects of Q.A. standards and practices
• Understanding of ISO 9001
• Excellent analytical skills and computer skills including knowledge of MS Office programmes (Word, Excel, Access and Visio).
• Personal communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of an organisation
• Ability to work on your own and to specified timescales and project plans
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of working in manufacturing/engineering environment
• Ability to interpret mechanical and/or electrical drawings
• Ability to inspect products, and record measurements and data
• Understanding of Stock/Inventory Control
• HND/ Degree in Manufacturing/Quality Assurance/ Engineering
