The Company:
Our client is an Engineering Services company, who are an international technical consultancy, providing a range of services including licence to operate, asset management, manufacturing improvement and capital investment to customers in the chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and consumer industries worldwide.

The Role:
To provide QA support services to the standard demanded by both Customers and contractor, and in line with ISO9001, for all activities, including audits, 4Q investigations and will be the main interface between the client and contractor quality functions.
The QA Engineer shall be responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) through internal audits and investigating customer feedback reports. This includes writing detailed audit reports and raising Non Conformance Reports when appropriate. Completion deadlines shall be agreed for corrective actions with the auditees and monitored through to completion.
Corrective Actions Reports (CARs) arising from external audits shall be managed and tracked to completion. The QA Engineer shall ensure actions are assigned and completed in a timely manner and escalate any actions that become overdue .
Data concerning the Quality Management System (QMS) will be captured, analysed and reported monthly to the Project Manager & corporate Quality Manager based in the UK.

Job Functions:
1. Create & maintain internal audits and audit reports.
2. Ownership of Project QA plans
3. Issue and manage the Corrective action Request forms and verification of Closeout.
4. Coordinate Quality Bulletins.
5. Compliance with the corporate QA manual.
6. Coordinate and report for the annual management review of the Quality Management System and action closeout.
7. Management of Client feedback.
8. Managing & coordinating corrective and preventative action and ensuring the incorporation of relevant changes.
9. Give assistance to project managers when completing Project Execution Plans.
10. Working as a QA checker when documents are being issued externally.
12. QA support to all UK & overseas offices.

Other Requirements
1. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationship with associates, clients, and vendors.
2. Ability to work within multi-discipline engineering group.
3. Some knowledge of engineering and design work processes.
4. Flexible in work environment.
5. Effective oral communication skills.
6. Ability to work, effectively, with minimum supervision.
7. Computer literate.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Typically HNC/HND or NVQ4 qualified with over 5 years experience in role/function and likely to meet the requirements for Incorporated Engineer status. Proactively develops the project support strategies and communicates outcomes with the project team. Works closely with the project team to deliver the desired commercial and planning outcomes. An advanced user of project processes and IT systems who brings specialist expertise to the project.
