The Company:
Our client is an integrated independent solar power producer, delivering affordable, rapidly deployable and sustainable source of clean energy worldwide. A long term player, we develop, build, own, operates and maintains solar power plants, and already has an installation track record of close to 600 MW.

The Role:
To oversee and inspect all installations taking place on the project and making sure that it complies with the approved method statements for the task at hand

Responsibilities
• To conduct full inspections of installations on site
• To submit full reports on the findings of the inspections and to record inspections on approved quality control documentation
• Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Control Manager and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Formal educational background
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Formal Quality Assurance Qualification

2. Work experience

Experience in the engineering industry preferred, preferably in energy or PV
5 years’ experience working on large size construction projects.
Eye for detail on construction projects to identify defaults
Able to generate quality reports during the construction phase

3. Competencies
4. Able to write a report
5. Self-motivated and work with minimal supervision
6. Engineering orientated (Preference Electrical Engineering, Civil or Mechanical as second option
7. Fluent in English – Read and Write
8. Fluent in Portuguese – Read and Write
