The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

The Role:
•Overall supervision of multi discipline team of inspectors responsible for quality control of fabrication (pipe and structural) pre-dressing of vessels / equipment and pre-assembly of structures;
•Ensure all inspections activities are effectively carried out in accordance with the Contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans.
•Coordinate final inspections / completion of ITRs and provide proactive technical support where or when requested;
•Review quality records to ensure installations have been completed in accordance with specification, codes and standards;
•Monitor testing activities required to achieve mechanical completion and/ or to satisfy pre-commissioning requirements;
•Review and accept Completions Dossiers / MDRs;
•Verify / confirm accuracy As-built drawings;
•Collect and collate reporting by QC inspectors, providing daily progress status and incidental reporting as may be required by the Quality Manager and/or PMT members;
•Attend and participate in all necessary project meetings.
•Conduct all work related activities in such a manner that the health and safety of all persons on the work site is his or her prime concern;
•Stop the work and highlight any safety or environmental deficiencies of any kind which may occur in the execution of the work by contractors, sub-contractors or vendors;
•Report all incidents, hazards and accidents;
•Comply with all applicable safety instructions and procedures at all times.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline;
•Supervisory experience on major projects;
•Previous experience working with project mechanical completions and commissioning systems;
•Familiar with computerized Completion Management System (CMS) for tracking, certification, and quality purposes and the use of Field Inspection Checklists / ITRs for the verification inspection and test activities.
•Working knowledge of international codes and standards related to installation and testing of process piping and equipment ;
•Good understanding of QA/QC requirements for final documentation and preparation of Completions Dossiers/MDRs on oil & gas related construction projects – preferably for O&G process modules and/or offshore marine structures;;
•Minimum 10 years hands on experience in a quality control role on major construction projects;
•Minimum 5 years experience in a similar supervisory role;
•Proactive approach to resolving quality issues;
•Basic computing
