The Role:
Diesel Current Production Engineer (Quality). Role is the resolution of 'field' production issues on 2.0L diesel engines. Co-ordinate rig or vehicle testing to understand or resolve field issues. Carry out projects to develop improved field diagnosis methods. Lead/support issue investigations at the engine or vehicle assembly plants. Co-ordinate failed part returns to the appropriate location and follow up with supplier for reports. Act as single point of contact for Ford Asia/Pacific for DW10 related issues.

Skills Required:
- Must be self-motivated and have good team working skills. Ability to resolve issues using appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g. FMEA, 8D etc. PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database applications.

Skills Preferred:
- Ability to work within multi-brand multi-cultural team. Enthusiasm for product excellence. Prepared to travel as appropriate.

Experience Required:
- Experience of Common Rail Diesel engine components and systems.

Experience Preferred:
- Knowledge of French would be beneficial.

Education Required:

Candidates, who possess a degree level qualification in a relevant discipline.A degree is required

Education Preferred:

Knowledge of 6 Sigma methodologies.
