The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Intimate knowledge of the manufacture and testing of sub-sea X-mas trees,
• Intimate knowledge of oil & gas industry codes and standards including API 6A, API 17D, API 17J, API 17B, ISO 13628-5, ISO 13628-8
• Coordination and supervision of third party inspection agency personnel
• Knowledge of NDT, welding, coating inspection and metals manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of criticality assessment processes and their application to supply chain quality management

• Coordinate the issue of inspection assignments for SPS Sub-sea equipment and 42” connector scopes of work including status reporting
• Coordinate discipline inspectors in monitoring the manufacture and testing of sub-sea equipment in accordance with approved ITPs
• Provide input into the selection and approval of nominated inspection agency inspectors
• Preparation, review and distribution of inspection reports and resolution of associated quality issues
• Coordinate the resolution of Non Conformances including agreement of disposition with Package Engineers and verification of close out
• Provide input and comment on Contractor ITPs including mark up of monitor, witness and hold points
• Compilation and maintenance of quality verification and inspection records
• Ensure compliance with engineering and procurement of SPS Contractor activities.
• Provide support for the updating and completion of activities documented in approved SPS Verification Check Plans
• Participate in Contractor and vendor management system compliance / product audits
• Participate in pre-inspection meetings at Site and sub-contractors premises
• Coordinate IVB and/or Certifying authority ITP interventions and review requirements
• Conduct inspection activities in accordance with requests for inspection, contract requirements and Company instructions
• Provide support and backup for SPS QA/QC Manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in engineering, metallurgy or physical sciences

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
experience in the application of quality assurance and quality control for oil & gas projects
• Extensive experience in the manufacture of SPS and related materials and equipment to international standards
• Experience in interacting with EPFS contractors including the implementation of verification and quality management processes.
• Sound knowledge of Heat Treatment, NDT, metals manufacturing processes including corrosion resistant alloys
• Sound knowledge of Factory acceptance testing (FAT) requirements relating to sub-sea equipment
