The Company:
Multinational Oil & Gas Company that established in Indonesia is seeking a potential candidate for Quality Inspection Team Leader

The Role:
Role Synopsis :
• The Quality Inspection Team Lead (QITL) will have a direct line report to the Construction Manager and functional report line to the QC Engineer, Cat. B Projects.
• This position shall support the QC Engineer to deliver the good quality of equipment’s and installation facilities for Cat. B Projects which is these are essential and will have a considerable impact to The Company Business
• The Quality Inspection Team Lead (QITL) is responsible to manage the quality inspectors for site inspectors and Vendor Inspectors as well as Contractor’s QA/QC Site Manager.
• The successful candidate will be tasked with managing the Quality Control activities for Cat. B projects in order to comply with Design requirements, The Company’s Specifications, applicable code and standards.
• The QITL is responsible for executing Quality Control activities and coordinating specialist inspection resources to implement the project Quality Management System requirements throughout the construction phase of the project.


Key Accountabilities:
Quality Management.
• The QITL shall implements the Project Quality Plan during the procurement and construction activities of the project.
• Implements BP's Engineering and Quality Management Guidelines.
• Provides guidance and advice to Site Project Team, contractors, suppliers, inspectors and third parties as required to ensure understanding of the project Quality objectives

Quality Planning
• The QITL manages the necessary resources required to meet the inspection and surveillance activities identified in the construction contractor Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and the construction schedule.

Quality Assurance
• The QITL shall ensure that Contractor will implement the approve QA/C procedures during vendor inspection and construction work.
• The QITL shall reviews the construction contractor’s Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and other relevant quality documentation.
• Identifies risks in the contractors and sub-contractors which may lead to audits being required to be carried out by the QA Engineer of Cat. B project.
• Participate and assist in site audits as required

Quality Control

• The QITL shall ensure that statutory inspection requirements are complied with during procurement of equipment and construction of the facilities.
• Ensures The Company’s inspection, surveillance and witnessing of constructed components is executed in accordance with approved ITPs.
• Provides coordination of any Independent Verification Body inspection activities during procurement and construction at site.
• Facilitates the project activities to handle contractor non-conformances, deviations and concession requests.
• Liaise with Construction Superintendent and Lead Site Engineers to maintain a regular update of relevant QC activities and highlight any problem areas or potential problem areas.
• Coordinates project activities for final inspection, punch list and release of constructed equipment to commissioning.
• Ensures that all relevant quality documentation, testing and inspection results are properly documented, complete and handed over in accordance with the information handover specification.
• Reviews Contractor and Supplier Quality Management System certification, Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plan and other relevant quality documentation.
• To work closely with the QC Engineer, Cat. B Project to promote the efficient use of manpower resources to maintain a cost-effective inspection service to the contract without sacrificing quality or safety.

Quality Improvement
• Regularly collects, evaluates and reports the KPIs from the project delivery teams and key contractors.
• The QITL shall capture quality-related lessons for future projects via the Local and ETP Shared Learning System.
• Incorporates applicable quality-related lessons learned from other projects.
• Provide trend data from the contractor deviation and concession process to allow interventions to be made for high risk and recurring issues.
• Contributes to the project quality improvement process by conducting root cause investigations of applicable non-conformances, driving to true root cause and meaningful corrective actions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education
• University Graduate with S1 or Bachelor degree in Engineering

Essential Experience & Job Requirements, Skills & knowledge
• A minimum of 10 years experiences of total experience, minimum 5 years in managing quality control aspect during procurement and site construction of oil and gas facility, in practical LNG Plant Facilities is a plus.
• Proven project experience or a combination of procurement and construction experience
• Experience of working with third party service providers.
• Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft Office software.
• English language proficiency sufficient to support reporting requirements.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proper understanding of BP Capital Value Process is an asset
• Working knowledge of applicable specification and codes is a plus
• Flexible approach to work
• CS CSWIP Level 2 (in applicable NDE techniques)
• PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretations and UT.
