The Role:
We are currently recruiting for two exciting opportunities for quality inspectors to join one of our key clients in the aerospace sector. The roles will be based in the Crewe area and offer a competitive salary as will as shift allowance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successful candidates will makes critical visual, dimensional and mechanical inspection of all standard or non-standard products of the company. They will also be required to verify process and product release documentation.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1) Dimensionally inspect finished products or components for conformity to size, design, and metallic properties.

2) Visually inspects parts for attributes like finish, casting defects, plating quality as called for by written specifications, oral instructions, and blueprints or sketches.

3) Complex layout and inspection of standard or special products.

4) Validates Product and Process documentation in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

5) Perform related duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

1) Completion of a recognized Apprenticeship in a manufacturing related discipline
2) GCSE Ordinary Level Qualifications in English/Mathematics
3) Skilled in the use of precision instruments and basic workshop trigonometry
4) Minimum of 6 years work experience.
5) Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Aerospace or similar environment.
6) Broad knowledge of production methods and quality control techniques
7) Strong technical background and hands-on approach to problem-solving
8) Travel up to 20%.


Working hours will be on a shift basis, working shifts 6am - 2pm / 2pm -10pm. Excellent basic salary + 15% shift allowance & company benefits available
