The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to assist the project quality team.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Provide assistance & direction to Contractor Mechanical inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications, manufactures and vendor’s recommendations and special requirements.
• Provide support and assistance to construction during assembly of package supplied equipment through to final acceptance ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Provide support and assistance regarding equipment preservation prior to and during installation up to start up.
• Monitoring to ensure effective implementation of ITP’s & FICs (or ITR’s) by the contractor and attendance at Hold & Witness points.
• Participating with Construction, Engineering and Completion’s/Commissioning in the verification of construction completion.
• Monitoring to ensure timely mark-up of As-built drawings and progressive compilation of MDR’s in accordance with index.
• Coordinating inspections with Contractors
• Assisting with timely resolution, verification and follow up of Non-Conformance reports (NCR’s)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
In order to be considered you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:

• Previous 10 years of experience on major Oil & Gas EPCM construction projects in a similar role.
• Previous experience with installation of static and rotating equipment.
• Previous experience installing package supplied equipment.
• Previous experience with installation of large Gas Turbine Generators (GTG’s), Compressors and MEG injection.
• Confidence in executing routine surveillance inspections around structural, mechanical, static, rotating equipment including piping.
