The Company:
Our client is a leading global oil and gas operating company.

The Role:
Represent Company for QA of I/A/E scope through design/procurement/execute/construction/commissioning phases of the AG&G Program. Ensure a safe design built to project standards as well as applicable industry standards such as API, NFPA, ISO and NEC.
• Support the Company I/E and Quality Technical Authorities in developing project Quality standards and monitoring engineering and construction compliance.
• Develop technical requirements for procurement of I/E equipment. Assure that suppliers manufacture in accordance to the project Engineering Technical Practices (ETPs)
• Perform Quality Audits / Surveillances of Engineering, Vendor Suppliers, and Construction to assure contract requirements are followed.
• Interface with the QA Manager to develop Program Quality Plan and Project Quality Plans including procedures and documentation for Engineering, Procurement and Construction.
• Work with each AF&G contractor and/or supplier to ensure a Quality Program is in place and adhered to.
• Review purchase orders to validate project standards and quality requirements are documented for the suppliers.
• Develop audit checklist for I/E equipment installation, preservation, and long-term storage requirements.
• Work with the site QA Manager to ensure the project Quality and Technical requirements are instituted consistently across all construction organizations.
• Assist Commissioning Teams with procedure development as contributor to the Commissioning Team.
• Assist Project Teams with development and implementation of effective Quality Plans.


Assure the technical integrity of AF&G Program through oversight of contractor activities and by the development, communication and advocacy of AF&G Program technical requirements. Develop programs and procedures, training and aligning personnel on the implementation of those procedures and by monitoring and auditing the execution of work during Construction and Commissioning.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years combined experience in the subject matter of start-up assistance, commissioning and turnover, loop check coordination, inspection, mechanical completion including QA/QC procedures and documentation.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an engineering and procurement office environment working in a client role as a project interface with engineering and procurement contractor and vendor/suppler personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrable understanding of engineering management processes including technical review, comment and document approval processes.
• Demonstrable familiarity and understanding of key industry standards in NEC, NFPA, ISO, and API.

Training and Education:
• A minimum of a high school diploma with additional technical training in the areas of industrial instrumentation and control systems including electrical codes and standards, basic electrical and process control theory and
