The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in one of the world's largest LNG developments based in Australia, as well as other energy and resource projects.

The Role:
Our Client is looking for a Quality Lead.

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Promoting safety awareness & being familiar with the general safety requirements outlined in the project HSEC plan

• Liaison as required with Technical service engineers for clarification of engineering and design issues


• Defining & allocating discipline inspectors their QA/QC scope of work and to respective work faces as agreed

• Coordinating QA/QC kick off meetings with contractors as they mobilise to site, and / or opening of new work faces to ensure contractor awareness of the relevant project specifications and site expected requirements,

• Review Supplier / Contractor Quality documentation prior to work starting, and continuous progressive reviews

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideally you will have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
• Solid understanding of Quality Management System, ISO 9001, Implementing and Auditing,
• Minimum 5 years experience as Welding Inspector (WTIA-CSWIP) Supervisor (AS1796 Cert 10)
• Solid background and good understanding of Construction activities on large EPCM construction projects
• Proactive approach to resolving quality issues
