The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to join an established QA/QC Control Team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess good communication, teamwork and leadership skills, along with a high level of computer literacy coupled with strong technical report writing ability. You must hold internationally recognised coating inspection qualifications, preferably NACE Level 3, ACA, BGAS for Coatings and ICORR for Insulation.

 Inspection of works in progress to ensure compliance with project specified requirements.
 Ensure effective implementation of ITPs & FIC’s (or ITR) by the Contractor and Client attendance at Witness and Hold points.
 Regular review of Quality records (FIC or ITR)
 Provision of technical support to Company and Contractor’s QC personnel as required.

Maintain routine surveillance and monitoring of coating and insulation activities

Promote safety awareness (Incident Injury Free) and safe performance example at site, fabrication yards, subcontractors and vendor shops participation in IIF. Completes safety observations monthly and as required (TSTO)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Hold internationally recognized coating inspection qualifications, preferably NACE Level 3, ACA, BGAS for Coatings and ICORR(or equivalent) for Insulation.
 Minimum 10 years hands on experience as Coating Inspector on major construction projects
 Experience in cryogenic insulation preferred.
 Working knowledge of international codes and standards related to coating and insulation of steel structure and process piping
 Good understanding of QA/QC requirements for final documentation on oil & gas related construction projects.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
 Proactive approach to resolving quality issues.
 Basic computing skills and working knowledge of MS Office Word/Excel.
 Formal safety training.
 Effective communication and reporting skills.
 Previous experience of working on major O&G projects.
 Candidate shall display confidence in representing the Client when interfacing with Contractors.
