The Role:
Assured Quality throughout construction phase, mechanical completion, & commissioning by implementing the Project Quality
Management System, ensuring Quality as an assured deliverable.
The end result will be a Quality product demonstrated by completeness of certification as integrated within the overall project schedule that is actively managed and delivered without detriment to project schedule or cost.

Manage and Implement the Quality Management System ensuring that the performance of the Quality Management system is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
- Ensuring Compliance with Capital Project Management System.
-Ensuring Compliance with national and international standards where applicable.
-Monitor construction contractor activities and ensure compliance with the ‘Quality’ management system.
-Ensuring that all aspects of the Scope of Work involving Quality is managed and represented for assurance of Quality.
-Ensuring that all project Safety and Quality Assurance deliverables are known and implemented.
-Evaluate and monitor implementation of Contractor’s site quality management systems.
-Managing the programme of internal / external auditing ensuring that the audit reporting and NCRs are conveyed to the European capital project team within the agreed timeframe.
-Managing Quality Group internal Share Point site.
-Ensuring Corrective actions, non –conformances and deviations are closed within the agreed timeframe and report on any trends.
-Review Contractor’s site quality audit schedule, monitor contractor’s site audit schedule, and participate in selected audits.
-Enforcing and attending QA/QC meetings together with the Contractors project QA/QC team.
- Assisting in responses to Site Queries.
-Interfacing with other departments within the project ensuring that procedures and plans are reviewed and remain compliant.
-Enforcing Safety Cardinals and Quality objectives within the project Team.
-Prepare and Deliver a Fortnightly report to the project Quality Assurance Manager.
-Monitor, investigate, identify and raise site quality issues to the Project Team.
-Advises Quality Assurance Manager on Quality issues, contractor status and metrics.
- Providing assistance to the IVB/NoBo regarding Verification Schemes (Fabrication) and pressure Equipment Directive (PED).
-Review Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans and identify Witness and Hold points as appropriate.
-Plan and lead assessment visits/audits to suppliers and sub- contractors as appropriate.
-Organise awareness training in the project QMS, procedures and applications as necessary

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Critical Skills:
-Experience with On-site Quality leadership role.
-Leadership skills within a Quality Team.
-Degree or HND qualified
-Ability to build a strong relationship with the contractors Quality personnel.
-Strong communications and networking skills.
-Highly developed influencing and interpersonal skills.
-Highly motivated and self reliant
-Problem solver
-Enthusiastic with a questioning and challenging attitude.
-Planning and organisation competency.
-A sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems
-A knowledge of statistics and general numeracy
-Good Interpersonal Skills
-A knowledge of International Standards and Codes
- Proven experience in Civils and Piping/Structural construction

Preferred Requirements
-Knowledge of Quality within Construction, Mechanical Completion and Verification phases.
- Knowledge of welding engineering.
- NDE knowledge of methods and applications
- Knowledge of constructability.
