The Company:
is a prestigious manufacturer of sports and racing cars

The Role:
To ensure an effective Quality Management System, correctly maintained and developed, and that the system is formally accredited to the required level

This role allows the opportunity to influence business change and improvement across all areas.

•Maintenance of ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS18001:2007 accreditation
•Ensure Processes and Procedures are complaint to ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS18001:2007 reflecting business needs
•Maintenance of business certification

Liaise with external certification agencies for planning of Recertification and Surveillance audits

Organise external audit visits (agree content, raise ERs, notify business)

Supervise progress of completion of non conformances (NCFs) reported during said audits and ensure their completion within the specified timescale

Report to external agency on progress of said NCFs

Organise changes to MS as needed by new/ updated Standards

•Organise and implement Internal Audit (IA) Plan to satisfy the required MS(s)

Report on individual IA and any NCFs raised

Report on non-conformances (NCF) observed during IA

Track progress of completion of IA NCFs to ensure their closure in a timely manner

•Raise and track other NCFs as required by the business

Regularly report progress of management system activities; external audits, internal audits and non-conformities, to Senior Management via required KPIs or other reports as required by the business

•Maintain MS on Business Operating System (BOS) on intranet

Create/edit documentation as required by the business (procedural, process and internal standards, text, forms, flowchart documents)

Maintain MS department documentation

Monitor documents for consistent format (corporate identity etc.) and appropriate content

Maintain MS documentation control (changes signed off, document file structure and document database etc.)

Update BOS with new and changed documents (maintain script and BOS files)

Maintain BOS document numbering system

Maintain BOS intranet display pages

•Conduct and report audits and investigations as required by the business
•Continually develop and improve all aspects of Management System
•Liaise with Safety, Health & Environment department
•Arrange SHE Steering meeting; agenda and minutes
•Annual Packaging compliance
•Assistance as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Quality, Engineering or Business degree and be a Qualified Quality Systems Auditor.
Willing to consider HND/HNC level if experience with automotive OEMs/1st tier suppliers Quality Management Systems
