The Role:
Candidate must be a college graduate in Engineering field or equivalent professional experience in major international construction projects and quality programs. Must be highly motivated individual that is capable of leading high performance team. Strong Quality background and leadership experience on large construction projects including quality audits and surveillance functions. If not already certified, must be qualified and capable of gaining Corporate Lead Auditor Certification.

HES SUPERVISION
•Overall management of project quality assurance, control and verification activities during preparation, engineering, procurement, construction, and turnover phases.
•Provide regular reviews of quality system, and develop, maintain, and facilitate implementation of Project Quality Management Plan.
•Develop Quality Management Plan to include requirements to be implemented during all phases and all project contractors and suppliers. Focus to be on prevention and early detection of quality related issues, and reduction of rework and costs throughout execution.
•Provide reviews and accept quality documents, including engineering contractor and subcontractor quality documents.
•Assist in review and selection of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
•Assist Project Management to develop and implement Project Execution Plan and Project Procedures Manual.
•Implement a planned and comprehensive system of audits and reviews.
•Train, develop, mentor, provide guidance and participate in career development of local team members to provide inspection and oversight of contractors and suppliers.
•Report to Project management on implementation and effectiveness of the Project Quality Management Plan.
•Verify contractors’ construction execution and suppliers’ performance including inspection, quality verification documentation and System Dossiers development and turnover performance.
•Play active role in effectively implementing Operational Excellence, Value Improving, and Preventive Action Team Programs. Proactively identify and assist in applying Best Practices and Lessons Learned and gaining implementation of actions necessary to improve performance.
•Prepare periodic reports for Project Manager, including Weekly Quality Assurance and Control Reports.
•Develop and employ Quality Team Values to achieve continuous improvement and performance excellence including establishment of team member roles, responsibilities, standards and expectations.
•Monitor and evaluate Quality team member’s performance against Operational Excellence expectations and Quality Team Values.
•Provide guidance and participate in career and professional development of Quality team members. Train, develop, mentor, provide guidance and participate in career development of local inspectors to provide inspection and oversight of contractors and suppliers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
