The Company:
Our client is a Global Company operating across a diverse range of industry sectors including Automation, Building Technologies, Energy and Healthcare. At present thy have a number of immediate permanent opportunities based in Korea.

The Role:
1. Mission of the function
The Quality Manager is the contact person for all internal and external quality management issues and responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system for the entire project lifecycle/execution, starting with the project sales phase. The Quality Manager is located in the project team during the project setup, engineering and manufacturing phase. With the beginning of the mechanical erection phase the Quality Manager will mobilize to the construction site until hand over of the power plant. The Quality Manager supports and advises the project team (office/site) in all quality related matters. During the assignment to the construction site the Quality Manager is responsible for the quality control activities applied on site.


2. Responsibilities
- Quality review and commenting on Customer Specification during proposal phase
- Establishment of the project specific QM Manual, Quality Project Procedures and Instructions
- Stipulation and Implementation of contractual and local requirements regarding quality management, quality assurance and quality control
- Conduction of Quality Management professional coaching/auditing (internal/external) and ensure compliance with the quality requirements.
- Supporting on expediting workshop activities, coordination with internal/external customer/supplier acc. to expediting plan and inspection schedule
- Reporting of quality statistics (defined KPI´s) and prepare preventive/corrective measures as well as tracking and implementation thereof.
- Coordination of Non Conformance Reporting (NCR) and prepare measures for Lessons Learnt and Continuous Improvement Process
- Supporting Head of QM in the role of technical regulation & standardization coordinator

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Has worked in (read: managed) complex plant projects for quality management over 10 years
- Has demonstrated proficiency in disciplinary leadership and effective motivation.
- Experienced in intercultural situations, if necessary, can be deployed to assignments around the world, has lived and worked abroad and worked on construction sites.
- Willingness to travel domestic and overseas
- International Welding Engineer (or similar), NDE (VT,PT,MT,RT) Level 2 (minimum)
- Additional Capabilities: Auditing, Root Cause Analysis, Knowledge on Integrated Management Systems, ASME Sec. 1,5,9,B31.1, DIN EN ISO 9001, Team Skills, Good Communication Skills
- Should be proficient in Korea and English (spoken & written)
- No limit to go abroad
