The Role:
· Develop and maintain ISO 9001:2000 systems and procedures at site in line with fulfilling
the requirements stipulated for current accreditation
• Review and update existing company Quality Procedures
• Manage the Internal Quality Audits at site
• Represent the company with respect to quality with our customers and with 3rd parties during site visits and quality audits of the site.
• Represent the company with respect to quality with our customers and suppliers during visits
and audits of their premises.
· Production of daily / weekly / monthly reports as determined by the Group
· Ensure that product testing is conducted, monitored and recorded as determined by the Group
· Responsible for training of operators with respect to Quality Systems and in-house training for quality
of product, as determined by the Group.
· Responsibility for the development and maintenance of systems and procedures at the site in
line with fulfilling the requirements of, and gaining accreditation to the BRC / IOP Technical Standard
· Review and update of existing BRC / IOP company procedures
· Responsibility for the Management of Internal AIB and BRC / IOP Internal Audits at the site
· Represent the company with respect to BRC / IOP requirements with customers and 3rd parties during site visits and audits of the site.
· Represent the company with respect to BRC / IOP requirements with customers and suppliers during visits and audits of their premises.
· Responsibility for in-house and external training with respect to the communication and fulfillment of company BRC / IOP requirements.
· Ensure that suitable communication sessions are set-up and undertaken with operational management and operators to ensure they take ownership of quality control and are aware of issues.
· Ensure that corrective action is timely, prioritized and tackles the Root Cause of the problem. Equally review and ensure remains embedded within the system.
· Ensure that data gathered on product quality is fed back to the operational team to maintain process capable operation.
· Maintain equipment to correct standards of calibration and maintain supplies for quality
function.
· Utilize and lead others in the implementation/use of key quality tools (ie QRQC, PDCA)
· Overseeing responsibility for SPC
· Monitoring of supplier non conformances and control of quarantine area
· Any other duties associated with this position.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Technical Engineering diploma/degree/ graduate in Economics.
• Experience in planning, purchasing, supply functions in a mass consumption industrial company.
• Post-graduate course in logistics
