Our Client is an international drilling company with extensive projects throughout the UAE, India and Iraq.

The Role:
Quality Manager (QA/QC)

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the performances of IMS for Quality Management System, quality assurance & quality control activities and ensures that company’s policies are effectively implemented in the organization. His role also include managing of Quality personnel and interfacing with other departments on issues of product quality, document control, and quality systems. The Quality Manager will act as facilities management representative and be a focal point for all Quality matters.

JOB SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
o Minimum of plus 06 years’ experience of relevant working experience in quality management system, auditing, quality assurance program, project management of which at least 05 years should be in QMS.
o Experience of auditing internal or external suppliers/subcontractors
o Experience in quality assurance and quality management system against API/ISO and international standards.
o Preferably Oil and Gas experience with rental product lines, machine shop inspection and down hole tools.

Technical Skills:
o Understanding and knowledge on company product line processes
o Understanding in measuring and monitoring tools and equipment, inspection requirements and references
o Familiar with inspection of all products and services as per quality plan and specification: API 7-1, API 7-2, API 6A, API 16A, API 5CT as well inspection standards DS1/NS2 and other relevant
Administrative Skills:
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
o Good Communication Skills, proactive and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
o Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Visio
o Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures and priorities, or work environments
o Ability to develop and implement a coordinated applied program for global quality assurance audits
o Ability to write clear and concise reports; work with regional quality manager to plan, schedule, organize and
Coordinate the quality assurance program.


Job Description
Duties, Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

o Establish QMS goals, objectives, priorities, and develop and execute action plans
o Design, develop, implement, and manage a corporate quality program, IMS
o Develop, implement, maintain and continuously improve systems to ensure customer satisfaction with our products and services, and to insure compliance government and international regulations applicable to our products
o Act as management representative to ensure QMS performances is reported to top management, Prepare reports and monitor quality management system and report to country management on regular basis and prepare annual management review meetings data and analysis reports for continual improvement and performance review.
o Ensuring Quality objectives are established at all functional levels in KSA
o Oversee the work of the Quality Assurance, Quality Control, ensuring that they have adequate resources and appropriate systems in place to ensure compliance with all accreditations such as API Q1 and API Q2 latest edition requirements, thread licenses and appropriate international and industry standards.
o Review all Non Conformance Reports, both internal and external to the company to ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are put in place wherever possible to eliminate root causes.
o Review all external Quality Plans and be the primary point of contact for customer nominated inspection and/or audits, as well as arrange quality documents and records for tenders and ensure the compliance against each contract.
o Ensure product license applications and procedures are in compliance as per the licensors requirements
o Be trained as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, responsible for Planning, Conducting, reporting, and analyzing internal QMS audits.

o Ensure the verification of work orders and the Inspection reports and COC to release the product.
o Performing In process and final Inspection as per the drawing, route card, and necessary specification/QMS requirements.
o All the process documents shall be inspected before the material is finally released and delivered.
o Receiving inspection of raw materials, repair goods, outside processed material & bought out material
o Ensuring the Identification and traceability of products remains and shall be maintained at each level of operations as well as inspection status of products shall be maintained at all times.
o Any other delegated tasks or responsibilities as required, provided the requests are reasonable and the employee is capable and competent to fulfill them.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education / Qualification:
o Educated to Bachelor degree as in Mechanical or similar Engineering or as minimum in business administration or related field.
o Lead Auditor in QMS ISO 9001:2008
o API Q1/API Q2 awareness training
o NDT inspection techniques
*strong inspection skills covering NDT level 02, QC inspection of API and premium connections. Meteorological knowledge also desireable.
