The Company:
Our client is an Oil & Gas super major with new and exciting investment opportunities here in Australia.

The Role:
Delivering quality measurement data through testing and proactive identification of anomalies.
Perform tests in accordance with recognised procedures and standards.
Maintain and monitor laboratory instrument performance.
Ensure currency in technical training.
Perform tests in accordance with recognised procedures and standards and enter data into the system.
Optimise resources by prioritising work and communicating with customers.
Participate in testing for correlation schemes and benchmarking of testing standards.
Maintain instrument accuracy according to procedures to ensure that results can be fully traceable and proven accurate.
Perform any repairs and breakdown maintenance on equipment failures.
Actively seek to improve performance in both instrument reliability and cost of ownership.
Through the provision of information, expertise and testing service work with other teams to solve problems.
Participate in cross-functional teams addressing specific issues.
Actively involve in the maintenance of the quality management system to ensure compliance is up to date.
Responsible for maintaining currency of own training.
Take appropriate action to address non-compliance, unsafe acts or HSE indiscretions with others.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques.
Significant years experience in varied testing laboratory preferably with petroleum products testing environment.
Titration experience highly desired.
