The Role:
Reporting to Quality Advisor and to provide oversight of Contractor quality assurance, control and verification activities during detail engineering, procurement and turnover phases.

Implement project specific Quality Management Plan, Project execution Plan and Project Procedures Manual

Focus on prevention and early detection of quality related issues, reduction of rework and cost improvement throughout project execution.

Provide regular reviews of quality system, develop, maintain and facilitate implementation of Project Quality Management Plan among project team members.

Provide reviews and accept quality documents as requested in Contract Quality Exhibits, including engineering contractor and subcontractor quality documents.

Assist Quality Advisor in review, qualification and selection of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.

Assist Quality Advisor during planned and comprehensive system of audits and reviews to ensure the JV, contractors, and suppliers execute according to approved procedures, specifications and regulations during engineering, procurement, construction and turnover phases.

Provide an oversight of the development and implementation of project specific Construction Quality Program including Standard Work Processes, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Verification Documents by Contractor.

Provide an oversight of the Contractor procurement activities, review SDL’s and MR’s of the purchasing equipment and materials. Participate in Equipment and Material Criticality Assessment Workshop. Maintain Vendor Inspection Plan. Participate in review of Contractor and Supplier deliverables.

Provide an oversight of the Contractor’s performance and quality of the engineering deliverables.

Interface daily with Contractor Quality representative to timely resolve quality related issues.

Participate at the weekly meetings with Contractor and provide reports to Quality Advisor.

Provide trainings for the JV and contractors to ensure clear understanding and implementation of project quality program and requirements.

Responsible for project related supplier quality control and inspection activities, including supervision of shop inspectors to be contracted by a Third Party Inspection Agency, and coordination of shop inspection activities with project team members, as required.

Play active role in effectively implementing Operational Excellence and Value Improving programs. Proactively identify and assist in applying Best Practices and Lessons Learned and gaining implementation of actions necessary to improve performance.

Play active role in deployment of safety culture, making safety a natural part of all work performed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Obvious working experience in Quality and strong background within Construction in the oil and gas industry.
Must have an experience in Quality of similar projects. ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor certified; knowledge of International requirements.
Knowledge of the Quality Assurance standards, practices and methods.
Highly motivated individual that is capable of learning and applying quality system concepts.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Background and experience on capital projects including quality program development, implementation, oversight and audit functions.
