Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
An opportunity is available for a Quality Systems Assurance Manager to join as a member of the Site Leadership Team supporting Site Execution with other Project disciplines (Eng, Const, HSE, Commissioning and interface). Utilising a proactive approach to Quality issues as communicated by the Site Execution Team. This position functionally reports to the Global Downstream Quality Manager but partners on site in an overall Downstream project One Team community-of-practice to execute project site QA/QC. Consistency of management leadership adhering to project policies, procedures, specifications and Industrial standards is paramount for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the effective implementation of Project Quality Management Systems for the project Downstream Phase 4 Program. Ensure adequate deployment to and use by the Project Team in a manner that meets Corporate, Regulatory, location and contractual requirements. Ensure Quality processes are aligned with current organization, project specifications and applicable codes.
• Manage project Audits and findings consistent with value added oversight. Liaise with the project Global Quality organization and ensure Quality Processes are consistent across all sites.
• Manage Global Project processes including quality planning, preventive actions, non-conformance control, corrective action, management of change, audits and project quality reporting and KPI review. Steward Quality organization to achieve superior best in class performance and integrate where appropriate.
• Promote safety awareness and safe performance example among project team members and all contractor personnel. This would include participation inincident injury free training at site and participation in Leadership Team goals.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• University degree in Science or equivalent with specific QC skill set.
• 10-15 years in oil and gas construction with auditing to ISO 9001 qualifications.
• Ability to trouble shoot and do investigative analysis as required.
• The ability to train and supervise personnel in Quality systems including completion activities.
• Diverse Quality Assurance / Quality Control management and project execution experience.

Preferred Skills:
• Clear and articulate communication skills – ability to communicate with people in different levels of the organisation.
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must demonstrate leadership in Quality systems, specific discipline support, non destructive testing, and completions requirements required to support the execution and planning of these activities.

This position will have 5 direct reports
Additional Comments: Position is for 12 months, based in Perth, working 9 hours per day.
