The Company:
The company designs, constructs, transports, installs and removes offshore facilities for the global oil and gas industry. During the last decades they have become a significant international player in the offshore oil and gas construction industry. The Group consists of two divisions, each with a specific role in the activities of the Group

The Role:
To evaluate, maintain and forecast accurate cost and value status of designated elements of Company's projects by means of measurement, calculation, administration, contract interpretation and negotiation.


Adherence to Company Policy and procedures
To perform tasks which may be requested by Management, from time to time.
To support all functions performed within the Cost & Contracts department.
To perform tasks delegated by the Cost & Contracts Manager
Maintain awareness and support implementation of the Company Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality procedures for all Company Business
Maintain detailed working knowledge of Company's business, contracts, systems and procedures to support Cost & Contracts Functions
Represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
Support the training and development of others within in the business
Review and interpretation of contracts and subcontracts
Measurement of drawings and application of contract provisions
Support the Project Manager in administration of contracts and subcontracts including correspondence, meetings etc.
Review and Allocate quantity and cost information within IFS
Identify cost trends, potential savings and commercial opportunities
Identify changes to contract and subcontract scopes of work, and subsequent administration
Prepare and management of variations through to completion with the client and subcontractors
Individual risk awareness within job role.
Prepare and present WRP to Senior Management
Prepare and process monthly, valuations and invoices to clients/subcontractors
Liaise with VOD Co-ordinator to administer variations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful SHE Induction
Preferably educated to Degree standard
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Construction Industry
Ability to interpret and administer contracts
Ability to interpret and measure complex technical drawings
Good understanding of IT software packages utilised by the company
Sound planning & organisational skills to compliment function and responsibilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills towards all stakeholders
