The Company:
My client is a UK leading Industrial Service supplier. With a wealth of knowledge in delivering solutions to key areas that really matter to there clients'. This has reflected in the growth and rise in stature of my client's business. With a estimated turnover of £120 million per year from £30 million per year where it was 5 years ago.

The Role:
1) Cost and Value Reports - monthly reporting
2) Forecasting versus budget (cost and value)
3) Sensitivity analysis – best case, worst case and most likely (turnover and p/l)
4) Cost provisions/accruals including purchase orders, materials, labour, subcontractors, plant, etc
5) Cost analysis – prelims, plant, equipment, materials, labour, subcontract
6) Labour rates including accruals for NI, holidays, ppe, small tools
7) Value analysis– SOR, FP, day works
8) Change management inc variations
9) Valuations
10) Application for payment
11) Invoicing
12) Cash flow and collection
13) Trackers for above
14) Identifying margin improvement opportunities
15) Ideally someone who has experience of estimating (not essential)
16) Strong background in dealing with commercial issues
17) Good negotiating skills

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- 5+ years in similar role in a contracting organisation
- Knowledge of National working agreements (i.e. NAECI)
- Experience of industrial sector (oil, gas and refining)
- Knowledge of best practice
- Evidence of risk and change management
ESSENTIAL: Either engineering or commercial qualification

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
DESIRABLE: Degree (Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT, or similar)
