The Company:
Our Client was established in 2004 to be responsible for the planning, design, procurement, construction, delivery, and asset management of all infrastructure projects and public buildings in Qatar, key responsibilities include governing the design, construction, and management of major projects including roads, drainage and buildings such as public buildings, schools and hospitals.

The Role:
For the Quantity Surveyor the duties and services to be provided by the specified seconded staff are to be generally but not limited to all facets of the Quantity Surveyor profession but with particular reference to:
• Review on budget estimates and cash flow.
• Preparation and update of elemental and detail cost plans.
• Assist in tender evaluation
• Cost monitoring and reporting
• Preparation and valuation of progress and final payments.
• Measuring, assessing and valuing variations and claims
• Technical auditing
• Final settlement claims and assist in contract close-out procedures
• Project valuation at forfeiture, interim and final accounts

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Should have a BSc degree in QS from recognized university with a minimum of 09 years industrial experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
For the Quantity Surveyor, must have the following minimum working experience:

* Shall have minimum of 09 years demonstrable post graduate experience in all facets of the Quantity Surveying profession; all of which shall have been applicable to the capacity of a professional Quantity Surveyor working in a professional Consultancy practice or Employers’ organisation.
* Extensive knowledge and experience in procurement methods for consultancy and construction contracts as well as International contracting conditions and laws.
* Preferably, have minimum 3 years’ experience in the gulf region
* Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize related computer software applications.
* Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in technical report writing skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
