The Role:
Lead and engage in setting quantity surveying policies and procedures in cost monitoring/ control and reporting systems for EZC.

Review and finalize all quantity surveying reports and analysis required to do the billing for contractors, consultants and other third parties.

Coordinate with the contracts manager in the setting up and management of the procurement strategy.

Analyse blueprints, sketches and other documentation related to EZC projects in order to prepare detailed time cost, materials and labour estimates.

Verify the accuracy of quantity surveying data including measurements and calculations conducted at surveying sites. (i.e. materials cost of installation…etc).

Conduct site visits to assess and record further details and verify information for project cost estimation.

Conduct studies, research and analysis needed to minimise costs within the same level of quality in coordination with other EZC functions.

Conduct product cash flow analysis, prepare cash flow projections etc.

Participate in the preparation of the tenders including the estimation of cost and scope of which specifications for projects in coordination with the concerned parties.

Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.

Prepare estimation reports used by management for purposes such as planning, organising and scheduling projects and maintenance work.

Develop a company database for the cost of major items.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BA degree in Quantity surveying or related Field, or equivalent experience. MBA is preferred.

An additional post graduate qualification such as membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors or similar preferred.

10 Years minimum related experience in the construction industry.

Proven experience in a similar role in construction projects.

Experience working in the GCC
