Railroad Finance & Contracts Supervisor

Educational Background / Qualifications:

Responsibilities for Railroad (RR) Contracts/ Finance Supervisor:
- Monitor and analyze Operating expenses and trends, Capital spending trends and commitments;
- Support of development and control of OPEX / CAPEX Budgets for Business Plans
- Track and maintain all RR business and financial activities,
- Prepare and update AFE Work-In-Progress reports, committed expenses, prepare OPEX/CAPEX Monthly Forecast/Accruals reports;
- Reconciliation of Contractors’ invoices;
- Provide Contracts Administration and Contract Management support
- Assist in preparation of bid and contract documentation
- Administer and manage assigned contracts in accordance with principles, practices and procedures
- Business office administration.


Person responsible for RR Contracts and Finance Supervisor must have:
• Preferably 2-3 yeas of proven experience;
• Experience in an international company environment;
• Proven background and understanding of budget cycles, management, tracking, analysis;
• Solid understanding of cost control process – budgeting, accounting, invoice processing, monitoring;
• Proven background and understanding of contracting process;
• Knowledge of systems such as JDE E1, BPC, Ariba Buyer / Contracts.

Special Skills / Requirements

- Good knowledge of written and verbal English (advanced or higher);
- Practical understanding of Finance / Contracts processes and procedures;
- Good command of Ariba/ /BPC/JDE E1 applications;
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and etc).
- Be a self starter (do not require constant supervision)
- Leadership abilities
- Ability to work in a challenging work environment
