The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
An opportunity is now available for an experience Reliability & Efficiency Engineer to champion the use of data in the Drilling, Completions and Intervention function.

In this role you will work with Project engineers and some of your duties will include:
Identify best performance from available databases both internal and external
Assist project engineer in setting up performance planning, and project tracking
Assist Project Engineers in documenting learning and sharing to the bigger DC&I community
Maintain and improve operations tracking systems to accurately represent progress and performance
Advise operations personnel on the appropriate use of R&E information from the systems to initiate analyses and operational learning
Incorporate WellDECC data into analyses and learning and planning processes
Fill the role of WellView ‘champion’ and represent the Business Unit in the Global WellView and Drilling Reliability and Efficiency Community of Practice
Support DC&I Rig teams by leading or participating in R&E related incident investigations
Develop skills in application of causal analysis techniques and tools
Prepare investigation reports as required
Support Category Management Program with regards to R&E incident investigation roles and responsibilities
Provide training and coaching for planning and performance processes and systems to DC&I personnel
Ensure that the function is using approved performance processes
Assist the R&E Team lead in the bi-annual Risk Management Processes review – RUMS and MoC

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have strong communications skills at workforce, professional and managerial levels are needed to effectively seek and share information, convey concepts and influence decision making. This position will also require you to possess a tertiary qualification in science or engineering in order to understand and apply sound physics to problem analysis and engineering solutions. It also requires a technical understanding of D&C tools, techniques and operations, which could only come from field based experience in well construction.
