Our client is a world leading Drilling Company with offices in Dubai. With a particular focus on the Middle East and SE Asia Market, they are seeking to recruit a high calibre Recruiter to join their team.

The Role:
REPORTS TO: Recruitment Supervisor

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

LOCATION: Dubai Office

BASIC FUNCTION:

 The Recruiter works closely with the Recruitment Supervisor, providing efficient recruitment support for all onshore and offshore disciplines. Under direct supervision, the Recruiter will perform full life cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, offer and close) for various different levels of onshore and offshore positions.

DUTIES
 Consult with Recruitment Supervisor on all Onshore and Offshore recruitment requirements to meet the organisation’s needs.
 Screen and shortlist applications against company job descriptions.
 Arrange and conduct interviews with candidates and provide feedback along with recommendation to both Recruitment Supervisor and Line Manager/Rig Manager.
 Assist with employee transfers between offshore units, and work closely with the Recruitment Supervisor regarding rig moves / new builds / re-activations.
 Maintain accurate HR records regarding applicant tracking, including daily responsibility of maintaining candidate interview tracker.
 Issue acknowledgement emails to candidates to confirm receipt of applications.
 Issue unsuccessful after interview emails to direct candidates.
 Prepare employment offers to both onshore and offshore candidates.
 Obtain employment references for direct candidates that have reached offer stage.
 Prepare and edit company job descriptions.
 Promote the Recruitment team’s strategy of direct hiring by pro-actively sourcing candidates from methods such as company website / linkedin / referrals and other appropriate channels.
 Plan ideas for future candidate attraction and selection.
 Develop and maintain relations with approved recruitment vendors.
 Actively participate in regular HR and Recruitment meetings.
 Communicate professionally and effectively with all parties involved in the recruitment process.
 Develop relationships with internal managers and external parties.
 Performing various administrative duties that support the recruitment function as business needs require.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
 Bachelor’s degree desirable
 HR Qualification desirable
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including word / excel / powerpoint

EXPERIENCE:
 Extensive experience (3-5 years) of recruiting for offshore and onshore disciplines within a fast paced environment.
 Experience of sourcing and screening candidates.
 Experience of conducting interviews.
 Knowledge of recruitment best practice.
 Knowledge and awareness of offshore disciplines.
