The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Recruitment & Talent Manager, the purpose of this role is to support the identification of talent internally and externally through people reviews, succession planning and recruitment processes.

Main Responsibilities

Marketing and Attraction

- Co-ordinate a plan of career activities on a yearly basis.
- Co-ordinate and assist at recruitment and career events.
- Make recommendations and implement branding and advertising interventions for marketing the Company e.g. through social networking, career websites.
- Liaise with external suppliers e.g. preferred suppliers, advertising agencies, assessment venues to ensure appropriate and cost-effective activity is provided.
- Liaise with UK based Group to advertise and share available vacancies & Talent.

Identification of Talent

- Interface with Operational HR teams and line managers within customer areas to agree recruitment needs and continually improve levels of service provided.
- Support the People Review and succession planning process by managing relevant people data, creating talent grids and presentations.
- Work closely with HR mangers & SAP to identify internal talent, skills and knowledge of current colleagues for suitable roles.
- Conduct UK right to work checks and facilitating fit for work checks where appropriate.
- Management of psychometric tests for recruitment & development.
- Co-ordinate and prepare documentation for the Assessment of Potential for internal candidates.
- Collation and presentation of all Assessment of Potential outcomes and scores.

Assessment

- Organise assessment centres in line with Recruitment & Talent Delivery plans.
- Co-ordinate and Train line managers to become effective assessors.
- Responsible for co-ordination and facilitation of recruitment and development assessment centres.
- Manage the assessment centre process and act as a moderator at assessment centres by validating and coaching managers in the assessment and decision making process.
- Collate feedback from assessment centres and create reports for candidates.
- Act as a focal point for all questions/feedback sessions in relation to assessment centres from Line Mangers, candidates, observers and the Group.

Promotion Rounds

- Co-ordinate and organise two Promotion Rounds per year for Colleagues identified for promotion.
- Organise Promotion event including budget management, venue organisation, inviting colleagues and line managers.
- Ensure promotion of events through intranet and Inside the Company
- Deliver effective induction and on-boarding
- Responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring delivery of company and departmental induction.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of the on-boarding modules for all new starters.
- Continually monitor and make improvements to both induction and on-boarding processes.

Budgets

- Responsible for monitoring costs for assessment centres

Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications

- A proven track record of working in a fast moving recruitment role with demonstrable
- Evidence of managing a high workload is essential
- Strong administration background
- Strong communication skills at all levels
- Strong customer focus
- Structured and process orientated approach
- Ability to prioritise and plan effectively
- Experience of online recruitment e.g. i-grasp software would be beneficial
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience of competence or behavioural based assessment and selection
- Good knowledge of SAP HR would be beneficial
- Thorough knowledge of KMIS system or equivalent succession planning tool
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment legislation
- Educated to HNC/HND or Foundation degree level
