The Company:
Leading company are looking to recruit for a Specialist Recruiter on a Fixed term contract to provide additional support to an engineering centre and programmes recruitment

The Role:
·Develop a good understanding of the industry and work culture and environment to be able to articulate this to recruiting partners and candidates

·Work with hiring managers to define recruitment requirement and conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and action completion

·Use standard PO job descriptions, creating new only where a job description does not exist (whilst using standard format)

·Enter requisitions into the recruitment portal following defined approval routes (closing requisitions upon fulfilment)

·Post Opteam approved positions to extranet and agreed websites

·Manage candidate applications received from online sources and deliver detailed feedback to candidates following interviews

·Review applications, manage interviews (including pre-screens) and tests and create a shortlist of candidates for manager interview

·Support telephone and face to face interviewing as required and agreed competency framework

·Utilise networks (Linked In groups) to find qualified passive candidates- promoting and leveraging the employee referral programme

·Monitor progress of tier one recruiters maintaining candidate database and recruitment metrics

·Manage any associated relocation activities per local policy

·Manage the local VIE intern program and associated administration

·Resolve the issue of employer sponsorship for non- EU migrants

·Manage the negotiation process between the client and candidates (in line with company policies and established compensation arrangements)

·Propose refinements to recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes

·Maintain close contact with candidates in the period prior to commencement to mitigate any risk of loss

·Plan and support induction processes to ensure effective employee onboarding

·Support European recruitment initiatives relating to engineering recruitment

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
·Extensive recruitment experience (including competency based interviewing experience)

·Experience of recruiting within automotive and particularly engineering environments preferred

·Strong interpersonal skills

·Understanding of applicable employment law issues pertaining to recruitment activity

·Results Driven and metric oriented

·Project Management capability

·Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
