The Role:
The Regional Coordinator's Role will provide project management and functional expertise within the Europe and Africa region for all Lubricants Businesses and Functions. Direct support will be provided to the Regional Leadership and Businesses represented in region in the maintenance of C&CM/ER preparedness, response, and recovery capability. This support will be delivered through assistance in the implementation of response plans (CCM/ER), development and implementation of exercises and in assistance in trainings and audits of response processes & equipment.
Key Accountabilities
• Support in the implementation and assurance of the SPU Lubricants Process - Crises and Continuity Management & Emergency Response by engaging the Lubricants Europe & Africa Regional Leadership, Businesses and embedded Functions.
• Own and assure CCM/ER related data that feeds into relevant MI processes for the region.
• Provide support in the execution of practical incident, crisis and continuity management and business continuity plans.
• Provide advice and support during CCM/ER responses in region.
• Execution and support for exercises, drills and full scale exercises including the participation of external authorities.
• Implement lessons learned process with CCM/ER to capture improvements identified during exercises and incidents.
• Support, as requested, any incident, crisis or business continuity teams during responses to actual incidents.
• Monitor regulatory requirements within countries in the Europe and Africa region.
• Cooperate with CCM/ER Subject Matter Experts within SPU Lubricants.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years formal operational and project management experience.
• CCM/ER experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience in working across different geographical, cultural and business boundaries.
• Degree or equivalent educational qualification

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven experience in project management.
• Formal HSSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH) desirable but not essential.
• Experience within the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing, Marketing & Distribution Businesses would be beneficial.
• Experience in Oil Spill Response would be desirable but not essential.
