The Role:

Leadership
• Integrates Lifting Management system in regional regardless of division
• Manages in region Community of Practice
Technical
• Identifies and communicates potential issues before they impact business safety or performance
• Performs implementation of Lifting procedures and technical Library in region.
• Provides technical support (Engineering and Construction and handover)
• Establish the technical requirements for the purchase /commissioning/examination/ inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment.
• Performs in region Self -verification reviews, assigns actions to cause corrective actions and risk mitigations and monitors close out.
• Provides Endorsement of all complex Lifting plans regardless of division and seeks endorsement of lift plans with business impacting risk
• Witness most major lifting operations in region and responsible to verify the readiness of Contractor owned equipment
• Ensure that all relevant engineering standards are applied during development phase of the work scope and that results of engineering studies are documented and recorded.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, structural)
Professionally Qualified Engineer or similar qualified with proven 5 years industry lifting experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of national and international legislation, standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of Lifting equipment and accessories and testing requirements.
•Fluent in written and spoken English
•Azerbaijani citizenship is required
