The Company:
Large international producer of personal protective equipment is looking for potential candidates for Regional Logistic Manager Russia

The Role:
Responsibilities:
•Ensure that sales orders entered in company Russia’s business system are tracked for fulfillment ensuring that products ordered will be supplied against the quoted lead times in full and that other requirements agreed with the company Russia customers will be met.
•Communicate any deviations that may come up to the customer focus team and / or the customer. If required escalate supply issues with company Russia suppliers, internally and externally. Improve processes by continuously aligning company’s supply chain with company Russia’s customers in close cooperation with other company functions.
•Identify, contract and manage a 3rd party logistics provider that will receive, store and ship company Russia’s stock products. Define, agree and manage key productivity, quality and cost metrics associated with the services provided by the 3rd party logistics provides.
•Plan inventory based on forecasts provided by company Russia customers and distributors; which products and at what level within budgetary restrictions. Together with the 3rd party logistics provider pro-actively manage inactive and obsolete material by scrapping and information to Customer Focus and Marketing for promotion and / or phase out actions.
•Contract carriers that will fill the transportation needs within Russia using global company contracts as well as by identifying the appropriate local carriers. Manage set-up of required day-to-day processes and manage performance and costs of carriers selected.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Logistic Management experience
•Experience in planning / import / customs / contracting 3rd Party Logistics Providers Management experience
•Manage third party suppliers through contracts and KPI’s Manage relationships with customs and other authorities Manage some direct reports Communication
•Strong communication skills in writing, verbal Personal
•High energy, self-starter, team player Technical
• Ability to grasp technical product knowledge; comfort with mechanical and electrical devices and software Language
o English (high intermediate / advanced)
o Russian (Fluent) Computer literate
• Capable of operating Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
