The Company:
Our client is a prominent internationally operating group of companies actively involved in energy and environmental projects.
Our client is based in The Netherlands and is organized in various independent business units specialized in the field of steam generation for a wide variety of applications. They employer approximately 600 people.

The Role:
The large internationally operating Korean EPC contractors are an important part of our client customer-base. These potential clients are increasingly successful in international power- and oil & gas projects. Therefore it is of crucial importance for our client to maintain close and regular contacts with such companies.
Therefore they have decided to employ a Regional Manager South Korea, who will directly report to the Global Sales organization in The Netherlands.
To fill this position our client is looking for an enthusiastic sales driven personality who will be the first-line contact in South Korea and capable to be a true local representative both commercially as well as (to a lesser extent) technically.

Responsibilities:
• Generating Sales leads
• Maintaining contacts with existing clients and finding new potential clients
• Providing clients with technical information, sufficient to meet client’s expectations in early project phase and pre-studies.
• Acting as “intermediate” between our clients offices and local contacts.
• Advising our client sales teams in proposal- and sales-strategies.
• Advising local sub-contracting strategy.
• Providing input to our client management for Marketing and Sales strategies.

Place in the organization:

The Regional Manager will report to the Global Head of Sales, who is based in the head-office in The Netherlands.
The Regional Manager will communicate on a very frequent basis with the Sales Directors and Sales Managers of NEM’s business units as well as with clients in the area.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• More than 5 years experiences in a business-to business environment.
• Preferably commercial experience in the power industry (boilers) or related industries.
• Fluent in English language.
• Commercial attitude.
• Technical background
