The Company:
Our client is a global market leader in power & automation. This role is working within the low voltage products division who supply a wide range of electrical components and systems to a variety of sectors and industries and this opportunity will look at the M&E contractor market.

The Role:
• To optimize sales within regional territory and grow market share through product sales into M&E contractors via strategic wholesaler partners.
• Agree and meet the company budget
• Understand and agree target market place within territory, with agreed target accounts, growth strategies and actions.
• Implement high quality visits to existing and potential M&E contractors and strategic wholesalers.
• Promote product solutions into electrical distribution schemes from LV panel to sub distribution.
• Proactively follow up sales leads to final conclusion.
• Ensure the CRM system is maintained in a timely manner and to the requirements of the business (update all accounts / contacts)
• Ensure forecasting and reporting is completed in a timely manner
• Ensure that product knowledge is maintained at the highest standard
• Carry out sales / product demonstrations to customers
• Build and enhance relationships with existing and target customers, utilizing appropriate corporate hospitality outside of normal working hours as deemed necessary.
• Ensure correct procedures are followed and adhered to at all times in respect of account opening, customer discounts and in adherence to the company trading policies
• Present the business in the best light to customers by exhibiting the highest standards of values, behavior and dress.
• Attend exhibitions, customer entertainment and company events as may be reasonably required on a national and international basis that may require overnight stays away from home.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Previous contracting products sales experience.
• Sound product application as applied within contracting market.
• Customer focused
• Seeks to to exceed goals
• Resilient and tenacious.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Proven sales track record within M&E contractor market.
