The Role:
The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving the overall polymer sales targets and ensuring that netbacks are maximized in line with the product market strategies. Ensures that sales staff are achieving sales pricing and volume targets. This role provides a global overview and perspective to all company sales operations on a global basis to capitalize on opportunities, corrective actions are taken and risks mitigated.

• Responsible for all sales activities to achieve the overall polymer sales targets and ensure that netbacks are maximized in line with the product market strategies.
• Works with the Product Managers to develop the global marketing strategies and is responsible to ensure the consolidation of the Market Intelligence in the assigned countries through periodic market reports.
• Works with the Product Managers to agree pricing guidelines and rebates and is accountable for implementation by the Regional Sales Managers. .
• Formulates sales strategies and establishes overall programs for product sales in assigned markets. Develops the sales budgets for the region /sector and sets sales volumes and mix targets for the Regional Sales Managers.
• Sets the framework and coordinates key account planning and management and ensures that account plans are developed for Global key accounts and large global distributors and meets with large customers / distributors to support achieving sales targets.
• Directs and reviews periodic regional market reports from the Global Marketing Network on market development, competitor products, price trends, sales forecasts, customer performances and recommends strategies to improve performance.
• Identifies global trends and opportunities and conducts periodic regional /sector performance reviews and takes appropriate actions as necessary.
• Identifies suitable avenues for sales promotion through participation in exhibitions, seminars, conferences and symposia to boost compnay’s international image.
• Provides direction to the development and implementation of the activities of Technical & Customer Service and Support provided to all the company's customers in assigned regions/sectors and ensures that resources are targeted in line with the sales and marketing strategies.
• Oversees order creation/account management policies and process and the order acceptance and approval process
• Provides leadership, coaching and staff development of the Regional Sales Managers.
• Develops and maintains contact with existing and potential customers directly or through network, to achieve sales objectives.
• Works with Finance Department in implementing Customer Credit Policies.
• Attends regional industry conferences, seminars and exhibitions whenever necessary.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bacherlors Degree with MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years experience in industrial or marketing operations, distribution and sales
- Knowledge of Polyethelene markets a distinct advantage
- Fluent English
- Exceptional IT skills
