The Company:
Our client is an organised multinational concern, consisting of ten highly-specialised companies and the leading Italian designer and manufacturer of cogeneration plants.

The position is based in Germany.

The Role:
MAIN GOALS
In coordination with the Sales Director
- Defines the sales strategy for the assigned area/regions, in coordination with the Sales Director
- Maximizes sales, margins and market share in accordance to budget objectives
- Manages the whole sales cycle, from the first contact to the closing of the contract
- Promotes brand and represents the company in the assigned territory

MAIN SALES RESPONSIBILITIES
In coordination with the Sales Director
- Actively looks for customers and develops the business in the following segments
- Natural gas: industrial, commercial, greenhouse, oil & gas, municipalities;
- Biogas: farms, cattle farms, breeding, investment funds, etc.
- Other market segments: coal mine gas, etc.
- Is responsible for the contract negotiation and closing (product + operation & maintenance)
- Researches, assists, addresses and verifies sales & business partners
- Identifies and suggests marketing actions on a regional basis

MAIN ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In coordination with the Sales Director, the Global Sales Director and the Headquarter
- Builds product knowledge
- Prepares and participates to sales meetings and strategic plans
- Updates the CRM
- Manages the administration of sales

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (electric, electro-technics, mechanics, energy, etc.)
- At least five years of experience in the sales of cogeneration plants or other complex industrial products
- Brings a client portfolio and contacts with prospective end customers in the different segments
- Strongly able to promote new sales opportunities and acquire customers
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills

AVAILABILITY TO TRAVEL & STAY
- The candidate must be available to stay in Italy for an initial training and integration period of 2/4 months
- Afterwards, availability to travel in the assigned territory, as well as for other trips in Italy.

LANGUAGES
- English as mother tongue. Italian: not required but appreciated
