The Company:
Our client is a leading Middle East based chemical manufacturing company with estimated current production of 10 million tonnes per annum and a global network of offices and distribution centres. To assist with the further growth of the company we are now looking to appoint a Regional Sales Manager into multiple global locations.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following key activity and responsibilities:

• Delivers sales budget (volume and price) for area of technical responsibility assigned
• Supervises and evaluates the activities of personnel in the assigned sales area
• Develops the sales budget and pricing structures for the region.
• Establishes and maintains contact with existing and potential customers to identify sales opportunities and product requirements
• Manages all aspects of performance of sales contracts
• Coordinate with Technical Customer Support to provide technical support to the companies customers in assigned regions.
• Participate in development of existing and new products based on market needs and opportunities.
• Identifies suitable avenues for sales promotion through participation in exhibitions, seminars, conferences and symposia to boost the companies image and branding
• Develops a customer database for the countries in assigned region with assistance of Global Marketing Network
• Proposes and assists Global Sales Manager in the planning of long, medium and short term sales strategies.
• Gathers information on and monitor competitors’ activities (prices, procedures, credit facilities, etc.) in the assigned region
• Attends regional industry conferences, seminars and exhibitions

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are therefore keen to receive application from candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Degree educated – ideally in a Business related discipline
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Polyethylene, Chemicals. Polymer, HDPE marketing and sales
• Excellent communication skills to include English language
