The Company:

The Role:
Accountable for ensuring Contractors comply with European Directives to ensure a flawless start up of the projects.
Assist the Engineering Interface Manager in:
-co-ordinating all Asset Integrity information and activities;
-influence other related policies and strategies to drive consistent and overlapping approach to Asset Integrity.
Responsible for the Verification process to ensure independent scrutiny of the Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and Performance Standards (PSs); and compliance with Company UK and Group requirements
Act as the focal point for resolution of Verification issues through liaison with the Verification Body and the Project
Be responsible for the development and maintenance of the scheme for integrity assurance of the Project through regular reviews with the Operating Group, the Package Teams, and SHE Department
Monitor and report to the Engineering Interface Manager the performance (against the performance standards, company rules and statutory requirements), of the Project
Develop and manage, across the Project, the strategy and process for accurate, consistent, appropriate, and timely reporting of verification activities.
Responsible for ensuring that anomalies including problems and failings in the Verification process are reported and tracked and given the appropriate level of attention. Bring to the attention of the Project Management anomalies the resolution of which are not addressed in an appropriate manner.
Responsible for identifying and proposing strategic solutions to verification issues.
Responsible for driving the application of procedures/processes relevant to Verification matters and the identification of any corrective measures with the parties involved. Ensure appropriate feed-back to encourage continuous improvement.
Ensure the change process and the management of incidents identifies and addresses impact on all elements critical to safety, environment, and production, and monitor the maintenance and assurance processes (including Verification) to ensure that changes are suitably addressed.
Responsible for tracking nominated contracts ensuring the provision of cost effective and efficient verification services are within agreed budget levels.
Responsible for the finalisation of performance standards and circulation for approval.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc degree in engineering discipline
Previous offshore industry experience with experience in managing integrity assurance activities and verification processes.
Proven expertise in maintenance/inspection systems, practices and techniques.
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to co-ordinate asset integrity across all functions.
Intimate knowledge of Safety Case, DCR & PFEER and expertise in verification practices and systems.
Experience and training in the process of monitoring and auditing.
