The Role:
Reliability analysis and structural problem solving:
Assure that reliability/availability targets are being achieved by monitoring plant/equipment reliability and availability,and preventing,and eliminating critical failures by applying root cause analysis methodologies.
Lead reviews of process and equipment failures.
Facilitates the operational reliability improvement process meetings.

Reliability & Maintenance reporting:
Create Reliability/Availability reports by collating and analysing data from the production deferment database and various maintenance management systems.

Reliability & Maintenance strategies and equipment performance:
Supports reviewing the preventive maintenance plan as part of the 5- yearly review cycle,utilising risk and reliability management processes. This includes identification of critical spares.
Reviews SAP preventive maintenance task lists to ensure they are fit for purpose,and in compliance with the Maintenance Performance standards and procedures and instructions.
Co-responsible for maintaining the cluster maintenance reference plan to achieve production and technical integrity targets within end of field life.
Ensure that production and technical integrity targets are met by effective preventive maintenance,based on reliability expertise and in-depth knowledge of the equipment condition,reliability characteristics,modes and risks of failure.
Identify and highlight equipment deterioration at an early stage to initiate adequate actions.

Reliability modelling and input in design:
User and custodian of the cluster reliability and availability models.
Gives reliability and maintenance support to projects and modifications ensuring good quality reliability & maintenance deliverables for hand-over.
Can apply life cycle costing methodologies to support reliability and maintenance decisions.

Reliability & Maintenance support/coaching:
Provides support to cluster teams. Coach and train production operations staff,graduate field engineers and other engineers.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
With a BsC or HBO degree (or equivalent) in Rotating, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Electrical, and an understanding of equipment and dominant failures for his discipline, you’ll have experience in reliability and maintenance engineering in the oil and gas industry. Good knowledge of Maintenance methodologies like RCM, FMEA and CBM.
