The Company:
Our client, a major Mining industry provider, requires expertise for a large mine expansion project in Northern Quebec.

This role will be rotational fly in/out, 12d/12d.

The Role:
• Assist in conducting World Class Reliability Studies at process and discrete manufacturing sites to determine the practices and processes in place for reliability and failure elimination.
• Assist in analyzing plant performance with focus on equipment availability, downtime reduction, life cycle management, and maintenance cost reductions.
• Assist in establish operations and maintenance strategies to eliminate silos and to increase reliability of plants.
• Assist in establishing strategies and methods for clients to improve preventative/predictive maintenance processes and procedures resulting in enhanced equipment performance and reliability.
• Train, coach and facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis of recurrent failures and high impact failures.
• Assist in developing training material related to reliability, operations and maintenance processes, techniques and systems to include planning & scheduling, high performance supervision, RCFA, RCM, etc

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
• Masters or PhD in Engineering specialty desired
• Excellent written and oral French communication skills.
• 5-10+ years of maintenance experience.
• Must have functional knowledge of CMMS systems (Maximo, SAP, JD Edwards, etc.)
• Understanding of reliability maintenance “tools” (RCM, TPM, RCFA and preventative/predictive maintenance strategies).
• Project management experience.
• Understanding of maintenance management improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of Weibull, Crow AMSAA and Reliability Block Diagram analysis

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability to effectively and professionally interact with clients and all levels within an organization.
• Ability to travel frequently, domestically and international, and possibly for extended periods of time.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Sound judgment and problem solving skills.
