The Company:
A major Global operator focusing on Exploration and Production operating in more than 110 countries and employing over 100,000 people. A leader in the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical Industries priding themselves in their innovation and Environmental/Energy Efficiency.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for driving the reliability improvement process across two production units. In detail, this will involve:

• Taking responsibility for production unit preventative maintenance strategies, scopes and frequencies
• Acting as custodian for all production unit preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring the strategy is maintained, via application of Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) techniques for existing and new assets
• Establishing reliability improvement initiatives and working closely with our project teams to deliver prioritised improvement
• Developing and implementing reliability policies and strategies, which ensure effective reliability over the asset’s lifecycle. This work requires close cooperation and coordination with production unit teams and specialist engineering teams
• Providing technical support to the production units for reliability centred maintenance, root cause analysis, plant improvement projects and maintenance optimisation
• Supporting the site’s skill pool management process
• Providing reliability specialist input and coaching for engineers, technicians and supervisors

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a chartered engineer (or working towards chartered status) with broad discipline and general engineering knowledge within the petrochemical industry, you’ll be experienced in the application of RCM and causal learning techniques.

IT literate and with good interpersonal and communication skills, you’ll have the ability to drive RCM application and interrogate GSAP to support the reliability improvement focus.
