The Company:
Our client, a major international Engineering, Procurement & Construction company, requires expertise for their ongoing mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
To provide maintenance engineering support for the development of Client's maintenance management system integration. Role involves working closely with the client reliability and maintenance team to ensure the best practice is maintained during the development of maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities:

Carry out overall risk ranking of project systems at a high level.
· Work with the computerised maintenance management team to develop the criticality ranking of equipment.
· Review, assess and rank equipment criticality in operations.
· Review, assess and rank equipment criticality for the start up of the process facilities.
· Work with the overall project engineering team to understand design and maintenance that may be required.
· Facilitate risk review sessions with client personnel to assess equipment start-up risks.
· Facilitate review sessions with client personnel to assess potential maintenance routines.
· Develop maintenance tasks to mitigate risk of equipment failure.
· Develop maintenance strategies on a facility wide approach to consolidate maintenance routines

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
· Completion of Red Seal Inter Provincial or Alberta Proficiency apprenticeship or equivalent with two to five years experience as a maintenance technician of plant equipment.
· Degree or advanced diploma in engineering is an advantage.
· Good understanding of maintenance systems.
· Ability to motivate cross functional teams.
· Strong technical background.
· Understanding of risk assessment processes.
· Good planning and maintenance implementation experience.
· Understanding of equipment criticality ranking and assessments.
· Ability to work well within a team.
· Offshore maintenance experience is an advantage.
· Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
