The Role:
This position is based residentially in Qatar.

Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineering Specialist to provide technical expertise to meet the objectives of the company. Perform and coordinate reliability activities in onshore and offshore
facilities. Utilizes conventional Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and other industry accepted reliability techniques to analyse equipment and produce cost effective strategies to ensure the safe and reliable operation of facilities.

Duties include;

• Lead new initiatives to improve plant reliability.
• Facilitate equipment strategies development sessions.
• Facilitate equipment criticality sessions.
• Facilitate Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) sessions.
• Performs statistical analysis to identify bad actors to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of plant equipment.
• Provide presentations to top management.
• Introduce new reliability techniques, methodologies, work practices, engineering standards and industry best practices to improve plant reliability.
• Develop processes and procedures to improve plant reliability.
• Coordinate internal and external benchmarking studies.
• Mentor new and junior team members.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• B.S.C. in a relevant engineering discipline, or recognized equivalent.
• Must have extensive experience with the following techniques and methodologies: Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Reliability Centred maintenance (RCM), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) modelling, statistical analysis techniques, bad actors elimination, predictive maintenance techniques, and criticality analysis and materials management.
• Must have twelve (12) years Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience, including six (6) years Reliability Engineering experience.
• Must be computer literate and preferable have exposure to large scale databases with the ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Must have knowledge of CMMS (SAP preferable) planned maintenance (PM) module;
• Must have undertaken formal facilitation training e.g. 2 week Facilitators course.
• Must have coaching experience.
• Must have prior demonstrable leadership experience.
