The Role:
The UK Reliability & Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for managing the reliability & maintenance strategy of the asset portfolio, this including the onshore facility and offshore installations. The main responsibilities include:
1. Driving the reduction of unscheduled deferment via prevention of critical equipment failures and elimination of recurring defects in a systematic and sustainable way.
2. Maintaining and optimising the preventive maintenance plan (PM).
3. Delivering improved reliability and maintenance effectiveness across asset facilities through the development and implementation of consistent standardised and fit for purpose maintenance strategies.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
With a BSc. Degree/ HND (or equivalent) with Engineering experience in rotating, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation discipline, and an understanding of equipment and dominant failures for this discipline. You will have sound experience in reliability and maintenance engineering in the oil and gas industry. Good knowledge of Maintenance methodologies like RCM, FMEA, PMO and CBM. Previous experience of RCA work would be beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
Have the ability to work within a matrix organization, reporting to the CNNS Head of Reliability. A first-class advocate and communicator, you’ll have excellent facilitation and IT skills (like Excel and Word), with a strong focus on Production, Technical Integrity and Cost. A team player with good interpersonal skills and a service provision mindset, you’ll be comfortable with auditors, third party operators and external verifiers and regulators.
