The Company:
Our client is a major operator based in London with projects beginning in the North Sea.

The Role:
To lead the definition and implementation of the reliability strategy and assets. To train, mentor and coach asset and group leadership and their teams, in driving the appropriate practices, and approach to deliver target equipment availability and reliability. The role sits within the Group Reliability team, within Global Maintenance. The primary goals are to ensure delivery of production targets, minimise production losses, ensure asset integrity and process safety performance is delivered, within sphere of control
The focus for this role will be on Failure Elimination, Design for Reliability, Reliability Opportunity Identification elements of the Group Reliability Strategy. This role will interface very closely with the Rotating Equipment & Reliability Manager within the team, who manages the other key elements of the Reliability Strategy. In addition, the role interfaces with other members of Maintenance, Operations and other functions and assets to deliver these goals.

Provision of specialist advice, guidance and leadership to deliver target reliability and availability of equipment for assets.
Protect the assets from repeat production losses related to equipment, process and people reliability issues, through embedding the Group Reliability strategy in the Assets.
Implement the Group Reliability Strategy through guidelines and processes to create a sustainable reliability-driven culture.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• A professional engineer with a recognised degree qualification in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• Ideally chartered/ professional engineering or equivalent, or working towards such a qualification
• Experienced in complex operating assets essential, ideally gained in offshore gas or oil producing facilities and onshore gas or oil processing terminals.

• Self motivation to deliver peer reviews in the timeframe required
• The ‘presence’ to influence all levels within the Asset to change their modes of operation and maintenance management to increase asset performance and delivery
• Demonstrable commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental performance, his/ her behaviour is influential in the behaviours of all employees on an Asset.
• knowledge and experience in application reliability analyses
