The Role:
Fircroft has been engaged to source a Reliability Manager for a brand new role within a large energy company based in Geelong.

The client recognised a need for a Reliability Manager to focus on the reliability management on the plant, which will include leading a small team. The suitable candidate will have a strong background in leadership and people skills as the key to this role will be to have a committed team to support the company’s strategies and procedures to reduce on site reliability issues.

The role will be accountable for driving the site reliability strategy; ensuring high performance delivery is achieved within operational, mechanical availability and cost efficiency.

The Reliability Manager will be solely responsible for budgets over $1 million beside other shared budgets; the role will be liable for a team of engineers and technical specialists overseeing rotating equipment machine assessments, scope of development and execution.
This is a new created role and will need a manager who can drive new reliability programmes and improve current reliability plans. Excellent leadership skills will be needed to use the appropriate communication skills with management and to also drive the team through this new phase within the company.

The role is suited to someone with a maintenance engineering background who has previously lead a team to improving site reliability performance, has implemented reliability management processes and has a lead engineers

• Has held a senior reliability role previously
• Extensive experience within people management
• Has lead a team of rotating engineers & technicians
• Proven with managing million dollar budgets
• Holds extensive experience within oil & gas

• Degree qualified
• Leadership/coaching training

Candidates must be able to travel to Geelong to attend an interview, relocation assistance will be provided to the successful candidate
