The Role:
Responsible for performing a range of decision and risk studies and functions, typically comprising:
Facilitating Project execution risk workshops and development of project risk registers.
Strong technical skills in Reliability / Availability Analysis, tools and techniques including FMEA and reliability studies such as TRC/TRL assessments and RBI assessments.

Performing risk analysis (Cost and Schedule) on project estimates using stochastic methods such as Monte-Carlo analysis. Establishing the P0-P100 range for comparison to the preliminary deterministic estimates.
Supporting the Risk and Decision process for Tenders as required.
Use of in-house bespoke risk tools such as Option Selection / Work Prioritisation on projects.
Assist with the proactive application of VDRM tools and techniques into projects and corporate activities.
Promote understanding and awareness of the company’s risk management objectives.
Assist with the interpretation of Corporate Risk Management Strategy.
Develop and maintain sufficient written procedures and processes to ensure service continuity.
Project manage specific VDRM projects
Assist with the provision of training opportunities to AOPL personnel to increase their risk awareness and competency.
Ensure that the appropriate toolset is available and maintained.
Research and implement new VDRM techniques and/or software that will increase the department’s value-adding capability.
